I am sitting in the kitchen after a long day of meetings, teaching, painting and a lecture waiting for the mashed potatoes. I am finding that all my seemingly innumerable daily tasks become relegated to the background as I try to squeeze in my daily canvas.
I listened to a lecture outlining the installations at last year's Nuit Blanche. After two hours of high- flauntin' art speak, I must say the mundane seems more and more appealing to me. I am content with my banana.
